The Silverstone Gardening Club Spring Show Online

Here’s our glorious gallery of daffodils and other flowers that delight us, as the days draw out and the temperature rises.

Thank you to everyone who submitted photos to make this uplifting display for all to enjoy. The exhibition is in two parts – a wonderful gallery of Narcissi in all shades of yellow, and a slider showing other spring blooms - all that's missing is the scent!

Daffodils:

. . . And then my heart with pleasure fills

And dances with the daffodils.     – William Wordsworth

Plant Show:

Oh to be in England

Now that April’s there,

And whoever wakes in England

Sees, some morning, unaware,

That the lowest boughs and the brushwood sheaf

Round the elm-tree bole are in tiny leaf,

While the chaffinch sings on the orchard bough

In England – now!
