Programme and events

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Silverstone Gardening Club Committee has sadly put on hold its proposed programme of meetings and events for the foreseeable future.  The Committee is continuing to review the situation and members will be informed as soon as meetings can resume.

The Committee is considering ways in which some events might be safely organised in preparation of proceeding with events such as the Spring show, Plant Bring-and-Buy, and Open Gardens if possible.  The most important consideration is the health and safety of those involved in arranging and attending such events.

This is a difficult time for all having to restrict or drastically reduce social contact but, as gardeners, we do at least have a hobby which keeps us busy at most times of the year.

Plant Bring and Buy

Saturday 8th May 10.00am til' 12.00 noon

Held in front of St Michael's Church

Please be sure to plant extra seeds and reserve some of your divided perennials. This regular event is always very popular and a great fund raiser for the club. Since it is being held on a Saturday morning in the village centre, we are hoping that this year will be even more successful.
