Silverstone Gardening Club was founded in 1996 by a small group of gardening enthusiasts who wanted to promote the enjoyment of gardening.  Whatever your level of interest, knowledge or experience, you are sure of a warm and friendly welcome at our meetings, visits and activities.

Speakers are invited to talk and entertain on a wide variety of gardening-related topics.  Each year a programme is organised comprising Club night presentations along with visits to gardens, plant nurseries, garden shows and other outings considered to be of interest to our members.

The Club hosts an annual Spring show when the doors are open for everyone to enjoy the colourful flower entries and displays, the baking and photographic competition entries, and sections where children can join in.

Our popular Bring-and-Buy plant sale is held each May;  our Open Gardens day and Weekend Away are held bi-annually, the latter being an organised mini-break when we visit gardens and nurseries in different parts of the country.  Club Membership also entitles members to a discount at some local nurseries.

As part of the Club, “Silverstone Flowers” enhances the village in the form of planters around the centre which are replenished throughout the year with seasonal planting.

The Club meets at 7.30pm on the last Monday of most months in the Church Rooms adjacent to St Michaels Church in the centre of Silverstone.  Notices of meetings and events are displayed on notice boards in the village.

Membership is £5.00 per year and monthly meetings £2.00 for members and £3.00 for guests. If you wish to join our Club please contact the Membership secretary by email –
