Things we do
We hold monthly meetings at St Michaels Church Rooms on the last Monday of every month when we generally have visiting speakers to entertain and inform on all matters garden related. We hold an annual Spring Show open to all members and Silverstone villagers. A bi-annual Open Garden event. Organised visits to gardens near and not so near. Click on to the relevant pages to find out full details.
We are a friendly bunch of individuals with a general interest in gardening. The club has over 150 members and we are interested in meeting new and old friends and generally having a fun time with the added bonus of gaining knowledge about everything to do with the garden.
Come and join us at one of our monthly meetings, it's a great way to make new friends.

It will not come as a surprise to any of you that the Silverstone Gardening Club Committee have sadly cancelled all meetings and events for the foreseeable future. So far we have cancelled the March Meeting and the Spring Show, other meetings will be reviewed in this ongoing difficult situation. As our October speaker has had to cancel due to health issues we hope that our speaker on Clematis scheduled for March will be able to come then.
This is a difficult time for us all. Many of you will be self isolating or drastically reducing social contacts. As gardener's we do at least have a hobby that at this time of year will keep us busy. With that thought in mind if you would like to share photos, stories etc. of your efforts please send to this email address and they will be shared with other members either by email or on the website. If any of you feel you are going 'stir crazy' and just want a chat, please feel free to give any committee member a call, there's a good chance we might be feeling the same way.
We will endeavour to keep in touch.
Keep safe, healthy and smiling.
